The loud, exuberant applause from the audience at this year’s Lancaster County Crime Prevention Summit left an amazing impression upon our students. The children who came from King and Carter MacRae Elementary Schools had learned and practiced the pieces as independent groups but joined together as one team. Beforehand a student exclaimed, “We are excited about the performance!”. As they finished the last song, bowed and rose to a standing ovation, they beamed with delight and confidence.
