Our students graced the steps of the Lancaster Courthouse for a community performance during May’s Music Friday. For many, it was their first time performing on the streets of Lancaster so they experienced the usual uncertainty and nervousness. Immediately after their first song, they were applauded and cheered by their friends, family, and many community members. As the program continued, the children sang, drummed and played ukuleles. It was obvious that everyone there was enjoying the music they were creating.
